I know this one looks funny... but Aflac has a strangle-hold on the Japanese market. Truly, the way the culture is there, no other competitor can move in and profit. Somebody actually tried to a while back, but they soon left after they found that no one would switch over from Aflac. Thus, this isn't a strict duopoly, and Aflac does have many competitors in other markets. But in Japan, it's just Aflac...
