I am esspecially proud of CHK (my very first trade), I did the homework back in Feb. 08 and before I heard anyone speak about it, I pulled the trigger at $43/Shr. Aubrey McClendon (Pres/ceo) started Chesapeake with $50,000 and got his hands dirty to build his company to what it is today. I guess in a way I've been lucky, although I know to research each Co. before buying, but didn't know how to plug in the #'s. Now that I've been reading Jim's "Real Money, Sane Investing" I see now how much more there is to know.

My second trade, and I just liked the fact they were about to drill in the corvina area (PERU) which I heard was loaded with Oil, and knew they would soon be online 100%, so I got 50 shrs at $19,remained patient, and it has been climbing steadily. This was one of Cramer's "wildcats" and when I heard him say BPZ resources on 6/11 I fell off my reclyner and spit out the hot tea, I was very happy cuz I knew I did well, the hard work had paid off. and still is climbing

They decided to become a bank and to loan money,got burned on the mortgages. but they're working to get that debt down. Too bad the stock is down.
