This fund has a Morningstar rating of 4 stars and is run by John Laporte. Laporte is a managing director with T. Rowe Price, his employer since 1976. He joined the company as a research analyst, and was director of research from 1982 to 1987 before assuming his present position. Previously, he spent seven years as a research analyst with Pershing & Company. Laporte is a past president of the Baltimore Society of Security Analysts. Laporte holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. T. Rowe Price New Horizons Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund's objective is long-term capital growth. The Fund will invest primarily in a diversified group of small, emerging growth companies, preferably early in the corporate life cycle before a company becomes widely recognized by the investment community.
The fund has ranked in the top 24% of funds in its category of small growth funds for the last five years.
