The Syntroleum Corporation has signed with Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN) to build a refining plant in Louisiana. This plant will process animal fat, of which Tyson Foods produces 2.3 Billion pounds a year. It currently costs about 33 cents for one pound of soybean oil while it only costs 19 cents for one pound of chicken fat oil. This refinery will primarily produce oil for the military and airlines. As of May 9, 2008, SYNM is $1.70/share. UPDATE May 20, 2008, SYNM is $2.55/share.
