Looking for recovery plays and a mix of any thoughts that might eventually lead to a profit ...

-
RAD
Rite Aid Cp - $1.27
- -2.31%
- $1.29
Recovery play ... troubles of the past have been cleared away. I love the upside potential relative to WAG + CVS. Debt is a negative and SSS not quite up to industry standard ... though I would say dept has been well managed and SSS for stores open a year or more will improve as RAD accelerates new store openings over the next couple of years. Eckard stores will be a major boost to Rev and lock up Rx coverage in some areas of the NE ... a good move and a great time for mergers. My boat is loaded this is a long term core holding.

-
MRVL
Marvell Technolog - $15.63
- -1.70%
- $15.41
Great products and technology ... MRVL has iPhone buzz (Supplying WiFi) + MRVL's XScale processors are the rising star of fast very low energy processors (many consider xScale to be the best in this market) for the next generation of Hot smart-phones ... xScale found in RIMM BBs. This is much more than just a recovery play in the making ... this is a great company that has weathered some nasty storms over the last year and is coming out bigger and stronger ... My boat is loaded.

-
SBUX
Starbucks Corpora - $21.43
- -1.79%
- $21.05
SBUX is just breaking out of the US cocoon ... a piece of the US that will be readily embraced (liquid stimulants sell, anywhere) ... total store growth outside of the US has just begun ... Do not know if the boat is loaded ... but I'm hedged (well, my hedge has done fine ... not worried though - actually looking to add more)... 6-12 month window. Still working out my position.
