Mix of stocks picked for different reasons. I tend to like companies that show good innovation and have products that everyone will want or need.

KMB
Kimberly Clark Cp - $66.01
- +0.38%
- $65.89
Business cycle play. Flushable wipes should be in every bathroom in America!

-
BP
Bp Plc - $59.22
- +0.85%
- $58.85
People need oil. Will hopefully be a leader in alternative energy plans in the future.

-
GS
Goldman Sachs Grp - $168.92
- -1.29%
- $171.97
GS seems to get it's hands on some of the money every time a transaction takes place on Wall Street.

-
AAPL
Apple Inc. - $204.19
- -0.12%
- $205.50
Still see lots of people on the subway with discmans. I think that the ipod has a lot left in it. Enter any Park Slope coffee house and all you will see is Macbooks. These first time parents and recent college grads will be Apple households for life.

BAC
Bk Of America Cp - $15.95
- -0.93%
- $16.21
Strong dividend. I like the service that they provide as my bank and brokerage. The interest rate that the brokerage gives me on my cash is anemic, however. I can't believe that they can get away with it. - Fixed This. Now getting a good rate between 4-5%. It just took a phone call.

DCU
Dry Clean Usa Inc - $1.16
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Terrible stock. Don't know why it is still in my portfolio. This stock is so thinly traded that I have never found an exit point. At the time I liked the dividend and was looking for a dry cleaning stock play. This stock "mysteriously" seems to jump every now and then. have an order to sell half at $2.50, and the other half at $3.00. Then it's good riddance, I say. I'm still looking for a dry cleaning stock, preferably one with ties to Singapore. I know that's a weird request, but if anyone has any ideas...

MON
Monsanto Company - $80.87
- +0.92%
- $80.50
Personally, I think the whole organic food thing is a scam (sorry). Monsanto has made some mistakes, but I still believe that they will help feed the world. The ethanol thing is an added benefit, but I don't think that it will last.

GE
Gen Electric Co - $16.18
- +0.37%
- $16.24
Huge company that personifies the United States. GE will be around long after I'm gone.
