This fund has a Morningstar rating of 4 stars and is run by Patrick Kelly. Kelly has been employed by Fred Alger Management as a research associate from July 1999 to February 2001, as an assistant vice president and assistant analyst from February 2001 to Septemper 2001, as a vice president and senior analyst from Septemper 2001 to September 2004, and as a senior vice president and portfolio manager since September 2004. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at SG Cowen. Kelly holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. SM&R Alger Aggressive Growth Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund's objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests at least 85% of its total assets in the equity securities, such as common or preferred stocks, of U.S. companies of any size that are listed on exchanges or in the over-the-counter market.
