A 25 year old's margin account for long term investments (20+ years)

-
KO
Coca Cola Co The - $54.49
- +0.17%
- $53.97
The world will always need to drink, and we can count on Coca-Cola to produce the nectar of the gods.

-
COP
Conocophillips - $52.11
- +0.31%
- $51.45
The world will always need oil. And this stock seemed terribly cheap.

-
WDC
Western Digital C - $36.44
- +0.39%
- $35.93
I reject the thesis that hard drives will be replaced by flash drives anytime soon. The compact size of flash drives notwithstanding, they're a huge way off from the capacities needed for most practical applications. This stock was terribly cheap when I bought it, and even more so when I added to my position.

-
HOG
Harley Davidson - $25.73
- -0.66%
- $25.56
Profitable and hardly cash-starved, HOG seems a good play based on demand from recreational bikers and anyone looking for an enviro/econo-friendly transportation alternative.

-
MCD
Mcdonalds Cp - $61.72
- +0.39%
- $61.05
Among my most speculative and higher P/E plays, MCD fills a symbolic role in my Forever Fund: the embodiment of a kid's dream of better things to come.

-
SBUX
Starbucks Corpora - $21.12
- +7.21%
- $20.40
My highest P/E buy, bought on a dip (I hope). Who says it's tapped for growth in the U.S.? India/China has caffeine addicts, too.

-
TTM
Tata Motors Inc - $12.15
- -0.49%
- $12.11
These guys know how to run a company. A lower P/E buy that adds a healthy dose of country diversification.

-
NSANY
Nsany - $0.00
- N/A
- $N/A
A play on the Japanese economy. Also the cheapest car stock around.
