Ron Baron is the founder and manager of Baron Capital Management, Baron Asset Fund and Baron Growth Fund. The funds invests in small and mid-size growth companies. He has a classic bottom-up approach, invests for the long term and looks for defensible niches.

Baron Asset Fund: 13.3% annually since 1987 inception.
Baron Growth Fund: 18.9% annually since 1994 inception.
Baron Partners Fund: 18.4% annually since 1992 inception.
