From MainStreet.com: "Last year was a disaster," says Britt Beamer, CEO of America’s Research Group, a consumer behavior survey research company. "No one is going to escape this crisis, and nobody’s got a plan for the future."
It's impossible to say whether or not major retailers such as Macy’s and Sears will go under in 2009. What appears certain is that many retailers are in for a long, hard year.

I think the transaction has to settle
before the record date, so that would be
Dec. 5th or 6th. Sell on Jan. 1st.
