From Barron's 4/2/07
The following is a list of companies from a collection of various research reports.

-
BMRN
Biomarin Pharmace - $19.09
- -5.68%
- $20.00
From Barron's 4/2/07 "Reiterate Outperform, 22 target. We are incremental buyers after attending American College of Medical Genetics meeting and learning of BMRN's intention to enroll physicians and clinics in expanded-access program for Kuvan, its investigational PKU [metabolic-disorder] drug candidate. While maintaining our estimates, we believe this could provide for a steeper launch than anticipated, should Kuvan be approved in fourth-quarter '07."

-
EPG
Environmental Pwr - $0.79
- -17.71%
- $1.00
From Barron's 4/2/07 "EPG is the first-to-market and a pure play on a developing biogas market which we value at about $380 million annually. We estimate 28 [electricity-generating anaerobic] digesters will be completed by the end of 2008. Annualized, this represents about $8.5 million Ebitda and an enterprise value/Ebitda of 8.8 times which we believe represents a good entry point."

-
IPS
Spdr S&p Intl Sta - $19.84
- -10.79%
- $21.17
From Barron's 4/2/07 "Maintaining Buy, despite stock's advance; raising [target price] to 127 from 115, as we give more weight to our $130 sum-of-the-parts valuation, given the [recent] disclosure of a stake by Harbinger Capital. We are lowering our '07 EPS to $13.50 (was $14), as we expect EPS to be flat sequentially in 2Q. Despite announced plate-price increases of $45/ton for May, we expect spreads to be flat in 2Q, as scrap costs have moved up sharply. In addition, drilling activity is declining in Western Canada due to the spring breakup. In our view, run-rate EPS should exceed $4/quarter in the second half."

-
NFX
Newfield Exp Com - $19.77
- -10.87%
- $22.00
From Barron's 4/2/07 As a result of the new company guidance, we have revised our 2007 earnings estimates downward, from $4.91 to $4.51 per share...Retaining our Buy rating, with a target price of 54 [which] equates to 12 and 3.7 times our 2007E EPS and Ebitda per share, respectively. We believe the stock will react favorably to the onset of production at the Wrigley Field, Grove Field and Abu Field, all expected soon.

-
TRX
Trx - $0.00
- N/A
- $N/A
From Barron's 4/2/07 "Maintaining Buy due to compelling debt pay-down opportunities through land sales and the potential Uerdingen [Germany] sale. We believe the recent Lyondell's TiO2 sale also suggests TRX is undervalued. After spinoff from Kerr-McGee in late '05, Tronox is now an independent company with $1.4 billion in sales. Although it breaks out into two segments, Tronox is basically a TiO2 company and is the world's third largest producer of TiO2 pigment [titanium dioxide pigment, a whitener used in paint, plastics, paper and cosmetics accounting for 93% of total company sales"

-
WAG
Walgreen Co - $23.36
- -4.07%
- $23.91
From Barron's 4/2/07 "Walgreen reported strong Q207 results with earnings per share of 65 cents, up 27% from 51 cents a year ago, better than both our estimate of 59 cents and the consensus estimate of 61 cents...Despite outstanding execution, these shares are still trading at a significant discount to the five-year average forward P/E multiple of 29 times. Applying a target forward P/E of 26 times to our fiscal 2008 earnings estimate of $2.26, we are increasing our 12-month price target to 59 from 58. With 25% upside to this target price, we reiterate an Outperform rating."
