This one's been a nice money maker for me, though I sold half my position at $20. I think it still has plenty of room to grow, as China continues building out and, eventually, becomes wealthier.

I have a real love-hate with crs. I believe they're going to $140, but, when it comes to putting my $ on it, I buy them, sell them, and then regret it.

As demand for oil expands, and the political cost for the U.S. increases, alternative energy is likely to grow both short-term and long-term.

I like the way they work. Buy other companies' plants for a fraction of the cost of building their own. They're cheap, like me. :-) Also, their ability to handle dirty crude is a good position as light sweet crude gets more expensive.

Innovation, low p/e, and decent dividends

Globalization is killing a lot of small neighborhood specialty shops. Fdx and UPS now get a cut of a lot of book, specialty foods, even underwear deliveries. It's still a growth market.

This is a bet against a housing soft landing. The mortgage is usually the LAST loan folks default on - asset recovery/collections folks could be seeing an upsurge

CME has been a champ for us, up some 1200%. I'm not convinced NMX is priced to do the same, but I'm keeping an eye on it.
