Vice, and consumer staple stocks, selling things that sell well, and go up, rain or shine. The things that are bad for us that "hook" us become hard habits to break, even when times are hard. I'd include junk food and sodas, which "hit the spot" when real food costs more. Medicine also holds up in good times or bad.
