A portfolio that will allow you to take a bullish view on the video game industry, which has seen tremendous growth since its early days in the 1980's. It will consist of businesses whose main operating activity is in the industry of developing, publishing, and selling video games. Growth in this industry seems reasonable to forecast as those who grew up with video games are now adults. Nevertheless, I am not a huge fan of video game hardware developers such as Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft because hardware is a capital intensive industry, and having followed this industry since I was 6, realize that the nature of which video game system becomes the best selling one is rather capricious at best. But I digress. Video Game Software Businesses, such as Electronic Arts, have a sizeable economic moat. For example, their Madden franchise is very hard to replicate, allowing for a competitive advantage within their industry.
