30% - Printers (P) - companies generating excess cash, buying back shares, doubling margins, on some sort of an EV/FCF type of metric
15% Events (E) - an event with a reasonable chance of positive outcome in the next 6-9 months that is not priced in yet (i.e upside-to-downside ratio is 2X+)
30% Turnarounds (T) - turnaround stories deemed to be at or close to the bottom of the J curve - broken companies in nicely growing industries, right after new capable management steps in to get their options at a bargain.
30% Stars (S) - companies with a reasonable potential to grow top line at a 30%+ rate for the next two years.
I am looking for more stock ideas falling into these categories, while I determine more quantitative financial metrics in each category. Any suggestions?
