1/5/07 In an amended 13D filing on Northwest Airlines Corp. (OTC: NWACQ), 5% holder Owl Creek Asset Management said the United States Trustee declined to appoint the Northwest Equity Committee which it has been pushing for. The firm said they have become a member of an unofficial Northwest Equity Committee with other shareholders. The unofficial Committee retained legal and financial advisors an will attempt to obtain shareholder representation in the bankruptcy case. In its November 21st letter to the company, Owl Creek said NWACQ could be worth $19.75-$33.50 per share. From streetinsider.com

(NYSE: RYI), Owl Creek disclosed a 5.3% stake (1.39 million shares) in the company and said they are not confident in the current management's ability to improve operating results.
