IF hyperthermia ever pans out as a legitimate and FDA apprived cancer treatment, these guys could be big winners, or get bought. Possible FDA approval of their high end system this year makes it a good crapshot. Bonus is possible 3-4 month approval of their less exotic model machine. My buys (if I can get them) will be made on retrenchments to around or below 7, for now.

ORA
Ormat Technologie - $40.95
- +0.69%
- $40.75
Geothermal power plant builder with growing international reputation and repeat orders. If geothermal ever gets federal energy credits like sexier but less reliable windpower, ORA will shine, and is nicely profitable anyway. Plants all over the world, and its waste heat generators just getting a good foothold as a scenod growth area.

- $10.07
ETF covering the "green" energy field --some smoke and mirrors maybe, but all the trends support rapid alternative energy industry growth, and this ETF gives a fairly broad exposure to the best of the field so far.

HDB
Hdfc Bank Ltd - $138.34

Everything's ahead for India, and this bank seems to have a good handle on the local market, and has a growing creditcard business. To balance it, I bought a little IBN at the same time. Have traded nicely in and out of HDB, but now think buy and hold is a better plan, given the growing Indian economy. Recent dip due to reserve requirement increases seems a good entry.

CRYP
Cryptologic Limit - $3.28

- $3.30
Generates tons of cash in the ihnternational gaimg software market. Repeat contracts seem to validate their utility to the operators of online gaming sites. Important that Cryptologic is not a gaing company --it is a supplier of nuts and bolts software to those companies. Now, if they can interest someone in China....

AUY
Yamana Gold Inc - $13.86
- +2.06%
- $13.79
Appears among the best of the second tier gold miners, and as long as Bush is busy bankrupting America, gold will continue to be the worldwide hedge of choice against the dwindling dollar. Good at least until November, 2008, seems to me. I ignore the day to day whipsawing of gold, the trend is your friend here.

Possible big winner in the solar waterpumping world. Or a possible big noise scam. Vote is still out, but worth a flier..
