So far this year Israel has been in the headlines for political turmoil and all out war with its neighbors. What people have not been talking about is the fact that its stock market is near 10 year highs and as demonstrated by the TASE-100 Index, is way off the yearly lows it made in July.
Yesterday, the Nasdaq unveiled the Nasdaq Israeli Index, tracking the 56 biggest public Israeli companies that trade in the US. We wanted to see which of these companies were the cheapest, so we ran a simple screen of the ration of Enterprise Value to EBITDA. This is the list of the 12 cheapest.
