They are not focussed in the markets that are troubled currently though.

Great Southern Bank Corp has a price to book under 2, and with the fed lowering rates this should only go up with no exposure to the sub-prime market in outlying areas of the mid-west. Could also be seen as an excellent acquisition target by the bigger fish looking to expand like Wells Fargo and US Bank in the mid-west. During the last fed-lowering environment, this was an exceptionally hot bank stock. The trend should continue again this time...
