04/13/2007 14:25 PM CDT Asked by Arthur E. Dunbar
TRU, an oil and gas field trust, has declined in price as the price of oil increased over the last few months. The dividend is under 6%. Why? Each reporting period the volume coming out of TRU's estabished fields is declining. Further, 2006's income was approximately $26 million. The Trust requires liquidation if annual income is less than $25 million. With reducing income the liquidation price is an unknown risk to this security.
