2008 will be the year of the LED. This is the top player in the industry - look below for a few more. But, simply, *saving* energy is just as good as producing it greenly. Better actually and cheaper. Enter the LED lightbulb. Streetlamps, parking lots, basically ANY exterior lighting will be replaced by LEDs in the not too distant future.
