Buy low, sell high. I generally hold a position hours to 3 days. I think the easiest money is numerous low-hanging fruit trades, and reducing your expenses to the minimum. I prefer to, but don't always, trade announced buy-outs. You'll never go broke taking a profit.

Eight billion dollars vaporized! What a buy! Walgreen's is debt free. Building 600 new stores this year, all out of cash flow! Had a disappointing year, but looks like they had to close 74 stores because of Katrina. Yup, that'll do it, but it's just a bump in the road. As soon as all the scared investors hit the exit, and the stock falls into "strong hands" - as voulume returns to normal - the stock will comeback. What more could you ask for : clean stores, aggressive expansion, DEBT FREE.

I found JBHunt Trucking on the 3x2 system. It's a local, regional trucker. Mr. Hunt was always respected locally. For me, buy and sell many times is a bunch better than buy and hold.

I find a bunch of mergers on TheOnlineInvestor.com. I watch the possible margin and horizon, and read all the news I can. Most of the news is ambiguious, and it's just a random walk. JRVR's a well respected insurance company. For me, buy and sell many times is a bunch better than buy and hold.

I like the channel of PetSMART. There's a lot of spending of mine that's discretionary, and may go away, but not pet food and supplies. For me, buy and sell many times is a bunch better than buy and hold.

My first trade as a college student was International House of Pancakes. IHOP was a killing for a college kid. Now IHOP's buying Applebee's. Great ROI for the holding period and exposure. For me, buy and sell many times is a bunch better than buy and hold.

I have a home in Tulsa, Jacksonville, and Heaven. I don't really care where I go next. FL Rock's a great, highly respected, local Jacksonville company. I like buying when everybody else is selling. I've got my money where my mouth is, I think the deal'll come to fruition! For me, buy and sell many times is a bunch better than buy and hold.

Buyout! Should close in Oct or Nov. Put these guys in your IRAs, SEPs.... and just wait the 60 days you have to wait to receive your money - commission and SEC Fee Free. Biggest problem is what do you replace it with in your portfolio. Nice problem.
