A mix of value and growth in this combination of my retirement and discretionary portfolios. I should probably make a move or two to add some more defensive exposure like KO or DEO I like to trade in and out of some other names and I am also quite fond of the following names and may add them if given a good entry:

DEO, MPEL, LVS, TM, GILD, FWLT, UNH, ATI, PCU, AUY, COST, LVLT, AKAM, WFR, TTWO,

Good value and exposure to growing Indian market. Modest protection from government. Indian rates coming down? Exposure to some exciting clean-air technology. Exposure to not only middle-class, but also rising low-wage workers with new $2500 car.

Undervalued with regard to peers like DE. Being valued as a housing play, when exposure to housing is relatively small part of business. Great play on weak dollar as international business is growing and important part of commodity bull market. If rates are cut, this one should expand its multiple. Also, projections for $9 earnings by 2009.

Want my money with Eddie Lampert. FIG ipo should also help propel the valuation here. The retail business can't get a whole lot worse, but the real estate value could really help launch some exciting investments.

A. Central banks across the globe joined
Bernenke in announcing continued low
interest rates. Meanwhile, banks can
keep longer-term rates high, maintaining
that steep yield curve, which is a money
machine for the banks.
