I am a 25 year old who is trying to maintain a highly-diversified long-term portfolio that contains global exposure, high- and low-risk positions, and consistent dividends for long-term growth and value. I am a long-term (~20 years) investor and have no plans to sell any of these positions before I retire.

SDY
Spdr S&p Dividend - $45.45
- -0.08%
- $45.32
This passive ETF holds positions in S&P 500 companies that have consistently raised their dividends each year. It's been hammered lately because of its exposure to the domestic financial sector, but it's on a DRIP, and that means I get more shares when the dividends are paid out. 8)

PID
Ps Intl Div Achvr - $13.883

- $13.81
Same strategy as SDY, but with international companies only. Great exposure to Canadian financials!

-
AMX
America Movil - $47.01
- -1.26%
- $47.42
Spun off from TMX years ago. I am in love with this stock. Casame Papi Carlos!

-
BIK
St Spdr Sp Bric 4 - $25.50
- -0.78%
- $25.58
A BRIC ETF. I wanted exposure to the new titans of manufacturing and natural resources. The dividend payout could be more generous, but the expense ratio is pleasantly low.

-
CLX
Clorox Co - $59.65
- -0.33%
- $59.89
A gift from a generous relative and employee of Clorox. It's been sluggish as of late, but it's also solid and on a DRIP so I just let it do its thing.

-
DAKT
Daktronics - $8.07
- +0.62%
- $8.11
LED lighting systems are the wave of the future, and this company is the best at them!

-
RWX
Spdr Dj Real Esta - $35.50
- -0.59%
- $35.33
Update: I switched to this (RWX) from IGR after finding that RWX had a lot of the same major holdings as IGR but a far lower expense ratio. I sold IGR after a solid 10% gain in ~1 month, so I think I got a great short-term gain off of it, and RWX will be great for the long haul. Here's what I had to say about IGR--it also applies to RWX: A international REIT that IMO was greatly undervalued when I picked it up in late Dec. 2007. Its ostensibly brutal expense ratio is remedied by its consistent generous dividend and purely international holdings.

ESLR
Evergreen Solar - $1.47
- -0.68%
- $1.46
I bought it at its high in 2005, but it has rebounded nicely and is starting to make some money. I'm definitely holding onto it, although I wish I had bought it much lower.
