This fund has a Morningstar rating of 5 stars and is run by Mark Headley. Headley is the president of Matthews International Capital Management, his employer since 1995. Previously, he was a vice president with Newport Pacific Management from 1989 to 1992 and a director of Hong Kong based Regent Fund Management for a year. He also served as director of international investments with Litman/Gregory & Company. Matthews Asian Technology Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common and preferred stock of companies located in Asia which derive greater than 50% of their revenues from the sale of products or services in technology-related industries and services.
