This fund has a Morningstar rating of 4 stars and is run by Maura Shaughnessy. Shaughnessy is a senior vice president with MFS Investment Management. She joined the firm in 1991 as an equity analyst and was promoted to vice president in 1992 and senior vice president in 1998. Previously, she worked as an analyst with Harvard Management from 1987 to 1991. She also spent two years as an analyst with the Federal Reserve. Shaughnessy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. MFS Utilities Fund is an open-end fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund's objective is capital growth and current income. The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity and debt securities of domestic and foreign companies in the utilities industry.
