One of top two Electric transformer mfrs in world. They make the best ones. China spending hundreds of billions upgrading Electric service in country. this co. is in U.S. also. Growing fast, low debt, Great price at 30.30. looking for 60~90.

Expect big growth in sales in earnings going forward a couple of years. Cost of polysilicon going down will make solar power more competitive in the long run. This is truly long term play, but could triple in 2 years.

Wells Fargo Pfd L. bought at 500, sold at 915. out now.

Back on track for good growth after explosive couple of years, then settling down. Good management, after shedding the old management. Working with power companies for growth. This may take a while, but I think upper teens is doable during 2010. Bot lots more at 3.09 im March. Sold entire position @9.25. Still good though

@45.92 a good long buy. Swimming in offshore oil. Contract w/China. Govt owns a big portion so safe w/ them. Protection vis a vis the US dollar

Australian dollar ETF. The U.S. Dollar is going to fall substantially over the next several years. I am not smart enough to pick exactly when. but I think at least by half. This is a good "money market" type ETF which is currently yielding apx 2% and it's in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. This is pretty much strictly a foreign currency play.
