"Smaller / unknown" companies, often foreign, diversified, but often with an interest in "infrastructure", such as real estate, minerals, water, energy, or other necessities / services.
The idea here, or in any of my portfolios, is often to identify emerging market leaders, or potential leaders in areas that have generally, assuming competent management, withstood the test of time, and appreciated year after year over the long term. It is my opinion, that irrespective of short term market movements, general necessities, such as those mentioned, and the stocks representing them, will do well should the growth in emerging markets continue as forecasted. My idea is therefore to identify potential leaders in these sectors, load up, sit back... and take a look in 20 years, when I figure people will still need water, trees, real estate, etc.,... and I expect the values of these things to exponentially have multiplied in emerging markets if the macro forecasts for growth in these places is correct.

Like your style xyz. How do you learn about so many stocks that end with pk and ob? I always find it hard to find info that can be backed up by more than one source.
