-
BLUD
Immucor - $18.44
- +0.05%
- $18.28
7:30 BLUD..my notes got wiped out..so this is by memory...the founder of the company is the CEO and I really like this company. Human Blood needs to be tested for 16 antagens..if you give blood to someone that doesn't have the antagen their body has to build antibodies for it ..which if the person is very sick is not a good idea..so the trick is to try and match as close as possible for transfusions. Right now there is 3 companies in the sector...about 10 years ago there were 20 or more. BLUD is the only one that is automated and can run about 10 times the test in the same period..which is good for big hospitals, blood centers, labs...they are a Razor Razor Blade Company. The Galialo is their big machine..and when they sell one The company takes the Cost at that point...guess what...cap x cuts of hospitals..they are leasing them instead so next qtr should show a decrease in that cost. PLUS the have echo which is about 1/10 smaller and the CEO said is amazing popular so far...they take them in a bus to show hospitals. CEO says that their M and A is for ONLY THINGS that will benefit them and they are REALLY picky. They have Cash..DEBT not a problem. The CEO made a point to make eye contact with me when he spoke..maybe cuz I was the only one looking up in a room being only 1/4 filled. He is going to be Very careful about buying back stock cuz with the market being what it is he can't be sure if good deal. Well, this is a NEED company. Bad economy or not...people still need blood transfusions..

TFX
Teleflex Inc - $51.06
- -0.56%
- $51.28
8:00 Telefex...the CEO kinda reminds me of someone in middle management that has good intentions but has no passion or creative spirit...seems like a nice guy but this company is something I have not much love for at all....it has 3 parts...one Aerospace...they are partners with GE...sort of like GE is the Pimp and Telefex is the "working girl"...they fix engine parts and run cargo loading systems...the second unit is for GAS SAVINGS in Pleasure Boat and other things..will Oil dropping means not much a call for this..plus everyone is selling their boats. Last division is their Labs..which I ask WHY did they buy it...see what happens when Middle Management gets involved.
