  • ACAS
    American Capital
  • $2.94
  • -2.65%
  • $3.09

Well managed company that pays a splendid dividend. It looks like their loans are reasonably secure, and their asset management business will provide fantastic income in the future.

  • TIVO
    Tivo Inc.

  • $10.67

A very misunderstood company. If they did not subsidize their growth by giving away the hardware they would already be profitable. Once they decide to pare back the expenditure on growth, it will become apparent just how profitable their business model reallyis. They are adding new subscriptions at $13 am month while the old ones drop off at $8 a month. This is the key to their future profitability and the market has not yet fully understnad the change in this company over the last year. They have mountains of cash and can keep growing for another 2 years. I hope that once they reach 3m subscribers they will switch buisness model and concentrate on profits rather than growth.

Excellent dividend (12%) with a lot of upside on the share price. I think the Canadian govt. will water down their taxation proposals on CanRoys and these stocks will start to return to historical levels.

  • RYAAY
    Ryanair Holdings
  • $27.00
  • +1.93%
  • $26.60

The most profitable airline in the world (22c on every dollar of sales!!) and growing at a 20%+ rate. I fly them regularly and am impressed with their operation. Falling oil prices will help the bottom line, and they still have pricing power as their prices are way below their competitors for a similar of better (commodity) product.
