Companies I feel are undervalued with strong fundamentals and a good business model. I look for companies with strong cash flow, dividends, and strong buybacks, especially ones below their enterprise value. I take a long term investment view when picking a stock.

-
HPQ
Hewlett Packard C - $50.04
- +0.44%
- $49.58
Mark Hurd!! Company has > $5 a share on its balance sheet and I think they will spend it wisely. All four businesses have been on fire the past few quarters. Trading at 14x next years earnings estimates and I feel it deserves to be a $40 stock in the next six months. I feel the latest legal issues will turn out to be an overreaction and the stock will resume it's climb.

HD
Home Depot Inc - $27.18
- +0.26%
- $26.98
I feel Home Depot is an excellent value play at this price, especially for the long term. It is trading at a historically low P/E (it has low growth), PEG ratio is less than 1, and the company has strong cash flow. The stock buyback program has been shrinking the share count slightly. The stock has been beaten down lately due to a number of reasons (ie.slowing housing market, the transition from retail growth to commercial growth, and bad PR surrounding Bob Nardelli. Cash flow has been getting stronger year over year along with the return on equity and return on assets. Home Depot has further room to grow internationaly and is a household name in the home improvement group

-
TYC
Tyco Intl Ltd Sw - $36.86
- +0.68%
- $36.66
I think Tyco shareholders will get rewarded once the company breaks up into 3 parts. Tyco was tarnished with the Koslowski scandal but the company continues to generate tons of cash in its operating businesses. I think the brand names (ie. ADT, Kendal, etc.) hold value and once the company breaks up these brands will look appetizing to Buy-out firms and other pubically traded companies looking to bolster growth.

-
TWX
Time Warner Inc N - $31.64
- -2.04%
- $32.19
I began buying Time Warner between $15 & $16 and recently added to it. It is one of the most undervalued media companies especially given how strong cable has been. TWX has strong cash flow and I feel that they will continue to become shareholder friendly (ie. cost control, increasing dividend, separation of cable business, and buybacks). I finally feel they are taking the right road with AOL in making it an ad revenue business. I feel that Dick Parsons is doing a good job and was getting a bad rap form Carl Icahn who wanted a quick fix to a long term problem not caused by Parsons.

DOW
Dow Chemical - $27.93
- -0.53%
- $27.83
P/E< 10. Management is paying down debt. Chemical stocks are out of favor right now therefore, I feel the company is strongly undervalued. Natural gas prices have dropped which is great for the bottom line. Very nice dividend. Insiders were buying the stock hand over fist when the stock was in the mid 30's!!!!

-
PFE
Pfizer Inc - $18.36
- +1.38%
- $18.15
Very undervalued even though growth has slowed. Pfizer has made it clear recently that they are determined to become a major player in the biotech industry whether it be organicly or through acquisitions. Company has an excellent credit rating and generates tons of cash even though many patents have or will be expiring soon. I think the new CEO will add a new catalyst to stock along with Wall Street's love for the drug industry at present.

-
COF
Capital One Finan - $37.70
- -1.67%
- $38.01
P/E =10, BookValue< 2, .... the fundamentals speak for themselves. This company is growing consistantly and is now expanding into retail banking (ie.Hibernia & Northfork). Capital One is striving to be another financial powerhouse in a world of increasing consolidation in the financial sector. I feel this company is GROSSLY UNDERVALUED which is why this is my largest holding. Once the NFB deal is complete I feel this stock can really take off!!

-
VLO
Valero Energy Cp - $16.47
- +0.67%
- $16.60
I have owned Valero since it was in the 30's. Oil is out of favor right now, however Valero is the nations largest refiner with strong cash flow and nice buyback. Even with oil prices dropping, I feel VLO is too cheap to sell here.

I sold my MO shares on 4-26-07. I did however purchase Jan 09 $75 call options to protect against any upside in the shares
