“The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund primarily invests in equity securities with growth potential. It may invest up to 35% of assets in high-yield bonds and without limit in foreign equity and debt securities. It normally invests in a core group of 20-30 common stocks. The fund is nondiversified.”

The fund was featured in the February 5th issue of Barron’s, as one of the top funds for their 9th favorite mutual fund family of 2006, Janus. Barron’s had this to say about the fund:

“Janus came in ninth, helped by a very strong finish in general equity, after taking a drubbing in the early part of this decade. "The group has gone through hell and back and stayed largely intact, and now has all of these shared experiences," explains Scott Schoelzel, who runs Janus Twenty (JAVLX). That fund, closed to new investors, had a return of 12.3%, placing it at the pinnacle of its peer group.”

Morningstar gives the fund 5 Stars.
