Looking for high yields that are solid and growing . My personal investing style is to build a position over a year or two , looking for a growing div. that I believe will grow over time re-investing all divs . Only selling if something fundamentally changes with the company or they cut my div.

PEP
Pepsico Inc - $62.08
- +0.32%
- $61.67
Div. yield at current time is 2.6%[june 08'] . Div. has almost tripled in last 5 years . Pepsi has tons of cash flow to sustain and grow it's div. Buying in now[$65] could be a great div. stock for investors 5 or 6 years down the road .

PG
Procter Gamble - $61.80
- -0.56%
- $62.00
Solid company on sale . Been buying back stock and have raised there div. from .45 in 06 to .55 in 08' . Bought at $63 . Will buy more as time goes on in small increments . Management has done well for long term shareholders and I believe will continue to .

-
CLX
Clorox Co - $59.65
- -0.33%
- $59.89
Have doubled their div. since 2000 . Has been a solid performer over the last decade . Yield right now at $54 is 3.5% , they are buying back stock just raised DIV. 15%[june 08'] . I think a long position in this stock will be good for long-term investors .

WIP
Spdr Db Int Gov B - $57.56
- -0.17%
- $57.46
Great international inflation bond fund . Gives a 2.9% yield with exposure to 18 countries . If you are worried about inflation this is a good play , I'll see how this one plays , it's new so I don't have any technicals .

-
ED
Cons Edison Inc - $41.90
- +0.24%
- $41.70
- looks solid , just beat by .03 . . Looks to be a good entry point , I'll get paid to wait . Have raised their div. every year since 1974 , current yield 5.9% . Well run utility company whose gross profit has almost doubled in last 3 years . Plenty of cash for their operations and their investors .

-
BP
Bp Plc - $57.83
- -1.36%
- $57.38
Recently bought in at $67 - current yield at this price is 4.8% . Like the fact that these guys are everywhere . Solar , wind farms , Brazilian bio-fuel , oil , gas , chemicals . They have been raising their dividend like crazy the last 3-4 years . Shareholder friendly ! Div. doubled in last 6 years . Last quarter was good , solid performance .

-
USB
Us Bancorp - $23.29
- +0.69%
- $22.95
At $29.50 this stock is a bargain . With a yield of 5.7% . Very little sub-prime , these guys are doing just fine ! There is a reason Buffett owns a nice chunk of their stock . They are doing well in the EPS department , earnings dipped a hair but I think that it's a short term blip . In last 5 years div. has almost doubled . Buffett is largest single shareholder -

DUK
Duke Energy Cp Hl - $16.22
- +0.75%
- $16.05
Been buying shares from them direct for 2 years now . Like the company , Jim Rogers has been slowly going green . He sees the righting on the wall . They've been a solid , steady performer ! Current yield 5.2% . Stock can be bought from them for virtually free , usually pennies per trans-action .Just bought a wind power producer today[june25]Duke will be producing 500 megawatts by end of year , with long-term goal of 5000MW . Stock can be bought direct from DUKE[at their web site] for virtually free , pennies per transaction .
