This fund has a Morningstar rating of 5 stars and is run by Saul Pannell. Pannell is senior vice president and portfolio manager with Wellington Management Company, his employer since 1979. He has been an investment professional since 1974. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society Pannell holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Hartford Capital Appreciation Fund is an open-end fund registered in the USA. The Fund's objective is to seek growth of capital. The Fund normally invests at least 65% of its total assets in common stocks of small, medium, and large companies. The Adviser identifies companies that it believes have substantial near-term capital appreciation regardless of company size or industry.
