New stock investor. I don't have a lot of money in my stock account, so I am building my diversity in small lots...example...I own 12 shares of GSF, 25 shares of CVs, 40 shares of ECOL and 100 shares of BQI as a spec. Not a ton of cash, but I have seen @ 9% positive returns YTD. Not as good as my 401 or my Muni's but not too bad for a newbie, considering many bonehead mistakes early in the year. Advise is always welocme.

great P/E. Gold is one of the only safe plays with all the craziness. Solid numbers. Company has no long-term debt and resides in a safe part of the world. They are making money.

I think this is going to explode. I bought this as a 3-4 month investment, hoping once the seasonal oil spike hit around mid-May, I will make a little Mad Money...er...sorry...wrong website.

ECOL
American Ecology - $17.19
- +0.70%
- $17.11
Owned it, sold it on the big quarter and waiting for another pullback under $20 to pull the trigger again. As we get closer to the 08 election, I will increase my holdings and go long. I think it will pull back under $20 again and then never see teens again.

I have to admit, Cramer sold me on this company. After doing the homework, I see why he likes it. I don't own it as I don't want to be in 2 mining companies. I will own after I pare down my NXG holdings.

Love the oil sector and love the fact that it could be a takeover target.

-
CVS
Cvs Caremark Cp - $30.90
- +3.73%

Love what is going on here. The CVS Caremark marriage is going to be a boon to shareholders in the near and mid term.

-
GS
Goldman Sachs Grp - $176.57
- +2.79%
- $173.68
I jut wonder if it is worth it to buy 5 shares. I want to, I am just a coward.
