60 shares of garmin as home loong term, picking up 1 or 2 of each sector over time, as well as 1 or tweo shoort term speculatives, probably will keeps pg and cpb long term as well since they are necessities, have a plan for gamestop as speculative short term as well.Opened account in July for first time in life with no prior experience but I am reading alot, Cramer's books, and articles on Web, Money magazine. Reading everyday to familiarize because account is self directed. I have $25,00 savings which I diverted 15,000 to this investment account, and keep the rest in a money nmarket. father is pushing for me to buy mutual fund and Roth IRA from State Far, the company he retired from. He is kmore conservative than me. I am wiling to Smart Rissk but small increments and I will not go to a zero balance no matter what using self control. In fact, positive returns are my future and the only question is how long it will take me through steady profitss, and inevitable small losses, kept to a minimum I believe through homework, planning, and advice from qualified person as Cramer, in my mind, 1 excellent source is better than any amount of fair average educators.Concerned over importance of factors relative to each other such as is the importance of low or no debt of company/multiples of formula M x E equals P but imagine time will answer and long as education is continuous and from reliable source. That is my strategy at 6 weeks of investing.
