Heavily weighted Basic Materials fund with expore to 5 other sectors for safety.

-
AA
Alcoa Inc - $12.66
- -2.62%
- $12.52
Aluminum (Basic Materials Sector) play. With the global demand for steel, aluminum should make a nice substitute where possible but the cost of energy its effecting its profitability. Potential takeover target still makes it attractive.

-
ARCC
Ares Capital Corp - $11.48
- -3.45%
- $11.53
High End Debt Fund (Financial Sector). Great dividen but its taken a beaten with the rest of the financials. I would stay away.

-
BA
Boeing Co - $52.45
- -0.91%
- $51.35
Aerospace (Industrial Goods Sector( play. I have taken a beating and dont have much to say. At $140+ Oil, a war winding down and airlines going out of business not to mention the downgrade by Goldman Sachs I cant see myself getting back in, in teh near future.

-
DE
Deere Co - $52.36
- -2.50%
- $51.86
Farm Equipment (Industrial Goods Sector). Fantastic expose to global food demand but performing terrible as of the last few months. I have limited my exposure but believe its a great long term play on global food demands.

-
EMC
E M C Cp - $16.75
- -0.95%
- $16.40
Storage (Technology) play. My only tech play that is just beaten down. I feel it has great upside potential and good managment. Along with RIMM, AAPL & INTC its my favorite tech play.

-
GE
Gen Electric Co - $15.94
- -1.48%
- $15.49
Conglomerate (Comglomaret Sector). What can you say, what do they not own. The stock is below $27. It seems like a no brainer but they have a huge finance exposure which may prevent them from rocketing in the near future. But its a long term play for me and if it goes to $25 I will back up the truck.

-
GLBL
Global Industries - $5.99
- -2.12%
- $5.97
Oil Services (Basic Materials) play 2. A stock i bought 2 years ago that has doubled. One of my best pics ever but i will likely sell off and add onto HAL.

-
HAL
Halliburton Co - $29.09
- -3.71%
- $28.99
Oil Services (Basic Materials) play. Best of breed oil services. Likely to still prosper in the event the oil bubble burst.

A. When I focus just on daytrading I came
up with a simple way to make 1/3 % to 1%
a day on a steady day to day basis. It
doesnt sound too exciting daily , but it
adds up to 5% to 10% monthy. Of course
it doesnt work every single day, but on
the days when I strike out I limit
myself to a maximum .66% to 1% loss on
my bad days. I tend to have one bad day
doing this out of every 10 trading days.
I usually stay invested from 15 minutes
to no more than 1 hour a day folllowing
this process, but I still spend the
whole day watching the marketts looking
for my best entry point of the day. It
tends to take up the whole day.
A. The only one I own : SLX,
too hard pick a winner out all of them
