  • ISRG
    Intuitive Surgica
  • $110.54
  • -6.23%
  • $100.24

One of a kind company with many new surgical applications possible and likely as the healing time using Divinci Robot well under normal major surgery recovery period, less invasive, and the high level of recurring revenue as the number of procedures per machine continues to grow. Also, the company is far from the expected saturation number of units qualified hospitals could purchase.

  • PMTI
    Palomar Medical T
  • $10.64
  • -1.85%
  • $10.77

Holds major patents that have been strong enough that a number of competitors have agreed to pay royalities rather than actually go to court, although many competitors have tried to bluff by filing suits or saying they will go to court. New hand held home use laser that is FDA approved and working with P&G [ Gillette] to bring to market. Also, working with deal for skin treatment with J&J that could be huge if all works. This small company could literally controll the laser market in hair removal and skin treatment. They also have their own laser products and by all accounts the new est one is having great success in sales and performance. Only about 17 million shares and about 30% short postion that is now starting to decline based on last months figures.

Intermec is play on RFID growth potential and they hold many patents in this area that were purchased fron IBM. Growth of this industry is expected to grow from !00 million now to 5 Billion in 2009. This is pick of Jeffery saut and I find him very good at finding trends to watch.

A. There IS an advantage to ariticulate
one's gameplan, whether a trader or an
investor.

As an investment (at least one year and
a day), NOV and RIG represent money in
the bank.

NOV is deep in the money (on hand) with
respectable backlog of orders and RIG is
best of breed deep sea driller currently
operating where the proven oil reserve
is for the future.
