With the takeover of private oil fields in Venezuela and latest news of other assets being nationalized, here are some companies doing business in Venezuela who are at risk for expropriation of assets.

To date, this list includes oil companies, banks, and the country's largest steel maker.

05/11/07 Venezuela says COP and CVX owe millions in unpaid income taxes on heavy oil projects in the Orinoco River Basin.
05/14/07 Added oil rig operators SLB, BHI, HAL. Plans announced to nationalize 18 oil rigs. Operators not yet named.
05/21/07 Added rig operator HP, energy company CMS, and lubricant producer CEM.
06/22/07 Added precious metals mining company HL.
10/02/07 Added gold miner GUY.TO, oil services company TISI, airline TAM, software company CMVT.PD, aluminum producer AL, and natural resources producer PFC.TO .
