CNBC's "Fast Money" traders have noticed some unusual options activity in a number of stocks.

-
CAT
Caterpillar Inc - $57.95
- -1.13%
- $58.10
Unusual option activity suggests traders are betting Caterpillar (CAT) has more upside, explains Pete Najarian.

-
WFMI
Whole Foods Marke - $26.36
- -2.26%
- $26.65
During Monday's "Final Trade" segment, Karen Finerman said she is a buyer of puts in Whole Foods (WFMI). Finerman said she is short Whole Foods Market ahead of its earnings on Tuesday for two reasons: the valuation is very stretched at 32 times and it faces stiff competiton from the likes of Safeway where consumers are trading down. "I don't see how Whole Foods can come in and beat earnings," she said.

SPY
S&p Dep Receipts - $109.43
- -0.36%
- $109.25
I’ve spotted unusual options activity which suggests big investors are betting the market moves another 2%-3% higher, explains Brian Stutland. Personally, I think it means the S&P goes to 1050.

-
F
Ford Motor Co - $8.64
- -1.03%
- $8.63
It seems to me like Ford is breaking out to the upside, counsels Brian Stutland. I’d play it with the $7 to $10 calls.

-
FXP
Proshares Ultrash - $7.82
- +0.39%
- $7.93
If you think there’s more room in the China pullback, you can play it with the FXP (FXP), counsels Pete Najarian. There was an amazing amount of activity in the September 10 calls. But be advised it’s a double-short ETF.

-
TCK
Teck Resources Cl - $34.62
- -0.72%
- $34.14
Pete Najarian thinks Teck Resources (TCK) is a buy due to unusual call activity.

-
BX
Blackstone Grp Lp - $14.98
- -1.96%
- $15.15
Jon Najarian has spotted unusually bullish options activity in Blackstone (BX). There’s also a fundamental story here, explains Najarian. The environment is hot for smart money managers, he explains and Blackstone is a company that stands to benefit enormously right now.

-
JCI
Johnson Controls - $26.86
- -1.43%
- $27.10
Guy Adami recommends long Johnson Controls (JCI) due to unusual call buying.
