“I think in 3 to 5 years energy and natural resource stocks will be trading higher," says Joe Terranova. "And eventually Africa will resurrect itself and that alone will create demand for energy and natural resources.” Exxon Mobil [XOM], Schlumberger [SLB], and Freeport McMoRan [FCX] are three stocks Terranova likes. “There still is a fundamental story underneath all these names of how you grow future supplies. But again these stocks are a longer term story.” Terranova suggests getting long over the next 12 to 18 months.
