I'm looking for stocks that are candidates for acquisitions after the market drubbing of January, on the backs of the weak dollar and an EU, Middle East, Asia companies flush with cash.
Buyers must have
- lots of cash in valuable currency
- highly appreciated stock prices to use as currency
- limited US market presence
- limited growth opportunities elsewhere
This follows Cramers' Stop Trading theme from today "Dubai Eyes Retail".
I'll have to come back to this later to flesh it out, and I'd love ideas from anyone.

Black and Decker Cramer discussed this Friday. It strikes me that this stock has many of the characteristics that I'm looking for: 1 - strong brand 2 - primarily us presence 3 - low enough capitalization to be attractive 4 - beaten up Now to find the EU buyer, hmmmmm.
