Okay, so I got hit bad by Dendreon, but who didn't? It was worth it to take a chance, especially after the surprisingly positive AC recommendation. But hindsight is 20/20, and I was blinded by message board contributors who didn't see the writing on the wall that pointed towards an approvable letter. But all is not lost if you are a true DNDN long as I still believe that the therapy has potential, and the experience has opened me up to the emerging cancer field, which even has it's own index fund in HHJ. This portfolio keeps track of all the stocks in this field, hopefully separating the wheat from the chaff.

Adam Feuerstein answers questions about Genitope, Immunogen, and Nymox in his Biotech-Stock mailbag (http://www.thestreet.com/_tscs/newsanalysis/biotech/10354735.html). This is the only reason I added these stocks to this portfolio. Mainly to track to see if he is right. A reader asked if Genitope is the next Dendreon. Feuerstein thinks not, but sees competition with Genetech's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma drug. He doesn't see much hope for Immunogen either. And he doesn't like Nymox, instead recommending Spectrum and Aeterna Zentaris. So these stocks go into the Favorite column, and the others into Least Favorite. We'll see where they are in 6 months.

Mentioned on the yahoo message boards. People noticed how it tracked DNDN back when that stock was running. Need more info, though.
