Dividend Growth

-
MO
Altria Group Inc - $18.54
- -0.70%
- $18.58
Even after the KFT and PM spinoffs, this stock is still all about unlocking and maximizing shareholder value. Hopefully, it will consider buying UST in the near future. Dividend still looks great with no signs of slowing of dividend growth. Cheap at these levels (i.e., low 20s)

-
PFE
Pfizer Inc - $16.96
- -0.35%
- $17.01
Excellent dividend growth Massive stock buybacks Good early stage pipeline A value play worth the wait Patience is a virtue on this pick. Remains cheap at these levels (i.e., high teens)

-
PAYX
Paychex - $30.37
- +0.03%
- $30.18
Excellent dividend growth Strong EPS growth Will give ADP a run for its money Solid growth pick that will rebound back to the 40s when the US economy rebounds. Cheap at the low 30s, will look to accumulate more at these levels.

-
QCOM
Qualcomm Incorpor - $43.90
- +0.11%
- $43.54
A solid tech/telecom play with a good dividend. Now that the Nokia lawsuit has been settled and iPhone as well as other 3G smartphones selling like crazy, I'm looking for the stock to hit 60 soon. Also QCOM is well-positioned with its 4th generation patents. What a godsend it was to be able to buy it in the high 30s before the Nokia settlement....now looking to buy in the high 40s/low 50s if it goes that low....

-
BDX
Becton Dickinson - $70.54
- +2.45%
- $68.98
A solid healthcare play with a solid dividend. This and C.R. Bard (BCR) as well as Medtronic (MDT) are, in my opinion, the safest ways to invest in healthcare.

-
BAC
Bk Of America Cp - $15.05
- -0.53%
- $14.94
One of the best large bank plays along with Wells Fargo (WFC) and US Bank (USB)... The big banks are way too cheap and are poised for a rebound once their writedowns are all declared and over with. Only the strong will survive, so I'll be buying BAC, WFC, and USB on signs of weakness.....

-
COP
Conocophillips - $52.11
- +0.31%
- $51.45
With CVX, that and COP are the best major integrated oil plays......massive share buybacks....Also like BP and XOM at current levels (i.e., mid to high 50s for BP and high 70s/low 80s for XOM).

-
RIG
Transocean Ltd - $85.40
- -0.50%
- $84.65
This driller, along with Pride International (PDE), remain solid ways to play the oil crisis. Even Obama and the Democrats will have to reluctantly support offshore drilling, which makes it a true win-win proposition. Looking to accumulate more at current levels (i.e., 120s)
