Smart management, proven marketing savvy, lots of room to grow the mac machines, some concern with options backdating. Would exit position without Jobs.

  • $64.35

The biggest and best global Hi Tech Driller, very strong backlog, and strong management. Respected worldwide. Part of long term thesis on peak oil and that the only way we will get more oil will be with help from Hi Technology solutions, for which they are well known. Excellent buy of seismic assets also. Little downside other than a global economic slowdown.

Great opportunity for early position in Macau gaming, with proven operator and top tier assets. Tremendous draw from very Hi populated areas, extremely hi table profits, Already bigger than Vegas, with lots of upside still to go. Development is busily building what it describes as Macau's first six-star hotel, the HK$1.5 billion Crown Macau casino to open in the Spring of 2007.

John Thain is a great operator and consolidator and has promised to extract cost and add value to the nyse, a premier exchange worldwide. Lots of upside once the costs are gone, and the nyse combines, or adds whole or parts of other exchanges. Conditions improving

Harvest Energy Trust engages in the acquisition, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. Pays apox %16 tax advantaged dividend. Canadian govern't recently announced a change in the tax status of energy trusts, which gave a major haircut to canadian energy trust sector. Could be excellent time to pick up some hi yielding trusts, which have till 2011 to make adjustments. 50/50 that Flaerty government could get reversed on it's decision at some point, which will be be major upside for the trust sector, big dividends even if nothing happens, some near term confusion is opportunity for potential capital gains in the future, while you get paid to wait.

Mosaic, fertilizer producer, potash etc, potential catalyst is ethanol needs corn & grain, and farmers need fertilizer to enhance crop yield. Dems will push alternative energy, this is Ag and alternative energy play on ethanol build out, without buying directly the ethanol producers. Position still has legs
