This portfolio is my long-term buy and hold individual stock portfolio in my IRA. The focus is on low PE dividend paying stocks.
Notes: I need to find a decent long term energy play here. I've been nervous about getting into energy with oil so high, but the Iraq situation looks like its only going to get worse. Need to find the firm with good access to Nigeria fields and Siberian fields.

-
MO
Altria Group Inc - $19.00
- -0.99%
- $19.00
Another one of my favorite picks. I got into Altria at $78 in September of 06 after the ruling came down in circuit court against Lite cigarettes. I love the KFT part of MO.

-
TGT
Target Cp - $47.70
- -0.27%
- $46.92
Bought Target in July of 06 at $46. I thought that it was undervalued at the time and I love their appeal to both bargain shoppers and middle class shoppers.

-
DELL
Dell Inc. - $14.14
- -1.53%
- $14.03
I bought DELL in July to take advantage of the VISTA roll out and Forrestor's research on aging laptops (over 67% of laptops are 2 years or older). The low valuation on this company keeps the bad news from hurting me and I'm hoping that decent to good numbers from VISTA's rollout will help me out.

-
JNJ
Johnson And Johns - $62.89
- -0.65%
- $62.52
I bought this health care stock before PFE. I love the diversified nature of their medical business and I like having the consumer staple piece to cushion any effects of government intervention in the market.

-
HD
Home Depot Inc - $27.61
- -0.86%
- $27.16
This is one of my favorite picks. Bought this at $33 a share. The low PE ratio and S&P $51 yearly price target influenced me at the time. S&P has since lowered that one year target to $48, but that's still a great return if I get half that upside.

-
BUD
Anh Bsch Inb Sa A - $51.18
- -2.40%
- $49.33
I needed some consumer staples in my portfolio, and I felt that BUD was one of the best companies for the price. (PEP and KO also look good.) I need to keep an eye on this with Busch IV taking over the company.

-
MMM
3m Company - $76.75
- -1.49%
- $76.12
I needed a good large industrial player and thought that MMM would fill out that portion of the portfolio well.

-
PFE
Pfizer Inc - $18.25
- -1.83%
- $18.08
I bought this after the news on torcetrapib and PFE's $3 drop. With a huge dividend and the ability to buy R&D from smaller biotechs, I think this has opportunity for growth and can pay me well while I wait.
