"You should be looking for anomalies, anomalies that have been brought on by indiscriminate buying and selling in baskets, like those in retail or banking for the buying and minerals and mining and oil and gas for selling." -- Jim Cramer

PG
Procter Gamble - $61.01
- -0.47%
- $61.06
For example, let's take Procter & Gamble (PG). All of the stocks in that sector are getting attacked except that one. What does that mean? I think it could mean that some people are making a bet that PG might be doing a big restructuring -- we know they are spinning off Folgers -- and in the meantime, this serial dividend booster is down a lot; you can feel pretty good about buying more if it goes down more.

CVS
Cvs Caremark Cp - $32.72
- +5.31%
- $33.92
Or how about CVS (CVS)? Retail's moving. Walgreens (WAG) is moving. But CVS, which was hurt far more by the store portion of the business than the prescription/Pharmacy Benefit Manager business, has lagged. That seems to fit the thesis.

-
MAS
Masco Cp - $14.05
- -0.64%
- $14.09
Or how about Masco (MAS)? If Black & Decker (BDK) and Whirlpool (WHR) are moving, how about this cabinet and faucet maker?

-
FO
Fortune Brands In - $40.66
- +0.30%
- $40.64
Same with Fortune Brands (FO), which just hit a 52-week low. Cabinet makers and faucet makers should trade somewhat equally, especially ones with a liquor business attached to it.

-
NYX
Nyse Euronext - $22.50
- -2.26%
- $23.10
Finally, how about the New York Stock Exchange (NYX), which I just bought a little after watching it fall from $94, where I sold some. Does anyone think that volumes are declining here? I know it is a hated stock, but I have to believe that the quarter that we are in is starting pretty fabulously.
