Jim made several calls over the last week either on his show or in a column or post and we highlight them in this portfolio for you.

-
GRP
Grp - $0.00
- N/A
- $N/A
The demand for the world's oil is not dictated by the U.S. anymore and the Fed meeting on Tuesday will not stop the sector's surge. Jim thinks most of the oil stocks have gone up too much except for Grant Prideco, Inc. (GRP). This company develops and manufactures the pipes and bits that all the driller companies use. They enjoy strong pricing on their products as well. Citing a presentation at the Lehman Brothers conference last week, CEO Michael McShane gave a "dud of a presentation." This should be a case of "underpromise, overdeliver." Below $55 the stock would be a steal, but Jim said the stock is worth $76.

RRST
Rrsat Global Comm - $11.7928
- +3.90%
- $11.35
The satellite distribution is in such a sweet spot for RRSat Global Communications Network Ltd. (RRST) that even Al-Jazeera is choosing to do business with Israel in this case. A network of teleports that uplink content to satellites is owned worldwide by RRST. They can beam content globally to major populace in the world in just one jump instead of many. The more hops the more it will cost the content provider so RRST can save money for companies. Currently the handle distribution for 295 television channels and 80 radio stations. The company should grow its 2% market share as well. CEEMA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa), the next huge bull market has great exposure for RRST since they are headquarted and do the bulk of their business in this region. This is a small $300 million market cap stock and should be approached cautiously. We were told to use limit orders and wait a week to buy. The U.S. economy should not effect the stock too much but the Fed decision may.

BEAS
Bea Systems - $0.00
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Jim went over a rule with us: "Be a lemming. Especially when it comes to following the top investors on Wall Street." His eye is on BEA Systems, Inc. (BEAS) because of this. Since June, Carl Icahn has just about quadrupled his position here along with making some bold statements about BEAS needing to be sold. Icahn has talked about how competition makes it too hard for tech companies to stand alone these days. The shareholders are behind Icahn and his strategy and this was called the key. Also if the shareholders did not believe in him they would have jumped ship and sold the stock. The takeover potential is a reason to buy, the fundamentals are strong and the company has a foothold in China. The last reason we were given is that Icahn is Jim's icon.

-
GLS
Genesis Lease Lim - $8.33
- 0.00%
- $N/A
CEO John McMahon from Genesis Lease Limited (GLS) joined the show and Jim was curious why the company is not doing well despite the 8.2% yield. McMahon talked about how the fundamentals have not changed and he thinks the stock is down because of mispricing. He talked about how one out of every three companies is operating an aircraft on a lease and this number should grow. Also they have 80% of aircraft distribution is global. Jim recommended the stock based on the 8% yield.

-
T
At&t Inc. - $27.08
- -0.07%
- $27.25
iPhone mania and a hefty yield makes AT&T Inc. (T) the kind of stock investors want in this environment. A steady surge in revenue has been seen since Apple Inc. (AAPL) released its phone and T is the envy of the cell phone world. The release of the iPhone has had a halo effect causing increased store traffic and sales of other phones. CFO Rick Lindner joined the show. A recent price cut on the phones increased the demand with a dramatic sales increase since the cut. The teenagers are mostly on T's network or Verizon's so Jim thinks that they won that war and the next generation is locked in. Lindner thinks that T is enjoying great performance across all segments, especially wireless. Wireless revenues grew at more than 60% last quarter with broadband demand up and telecom IPTV service taking off. There is a 3.6% yield and it has increased every year for the past 22 years. The credit and balance sheet financials were called "real strong." Cramer's bottom line was: "The one stock every investor should have in their retirement portfolio is T."
