Despite all of the problems this company has had (lowered guidance etc) the fact of the matter is that people tend to wear these shoes as the weather gets worse. At these current levels, I am not sure how much down-side there is to shares. Also, Nike which has unsuccessfully tried to enter the boot market may be interested in the company.

Our team executed well at the store level and took advantage of the cold weather opportunity", Also: "We were deliberate in our markdown strategy on winter-related merchandise, which produced a solid sell-through" This trend should continue as long as the weather stays cold.

Winter can wreak havoc on facial skin in particular. Cold, wind and overheated buildings suck the moisture from the air, drying the delicate tissue. Avon made the great move of buying Burt's Bees which has very high margins and gets even more popular during the winter months
