The way that I found these companies was by looking for small cap plays on a strong global economy and strong commodities prices. All of these companies have a price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) that is less than 2x the company's estimated earnings-per-share (EPS) growth rate.

Interestingly, the company does little business in China because of protectionist tariffs and low demand for its high technology equipment.
